- Living Photograph: Chris with Teacup(2007)While finishing up a client video project, which happened to feature my friend Chris, I thought it would be fun to film him staring at the camera, without blinking, for as long as possible, just for fun. I asked him to hold the teacup for no reason in particular. It wasn't until viewing this later that I realized there was something unique about this motionless film. So I put it up on YouTube.For the most part, the video is considered to be funny, albeit, a little creepy. While others started to see it as a piece of sophisticated contemporary art. Chris with Teacup has enjoyed some viral success, having been parodied hundreds of times on YouTube, appearing on popular blogs like CollegeHumor.com and Funny or Die and viewed millions of times collectively on the web. The video has been featured on Tosh.0, G4's Attack of the Show and Web Soup.It has also appeared in two contemporary art exhibits in Germany.Art News Projects in Berlin and Sun Gallery in Munich.
